SERVICES & SERVICE AREAS

•    What services do you provide? Mid-day visits and overnight care.
•    Do you offer in-home care? Yes, I do but on a limited basis and within a 5-mile radius of my home. Priority is given to special needs and elderly pets. I prefer to provide overnight care for dogs at my home. I can accommodate 2- 3 pet families at the same time. However if your dog does not socialize with others, let me know at the time of your booking.
•    Are dogs kept in crates or kennels? No, I have spacious rooms, including a large fenced-in yard. Your pet will never be crated unless requested. Plus, they have access to other areas of my home. They are treated like family.
•    What areas do you serve for mid-day visits? Myersville and Middletown.
•    Can a custom visit be arranged? Absolutely, just let me know what service(s) you would like, so that I can provide you with an estimate.

SPECIAL NEEDS

•    Can you care for animals with medical requirements and other special needs? If your pet has special needs, please contact me so we can discuss the best plan for your pet.

ANIMALS I CARE FOR

•    What types of animals do you care for? Dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits etc. Sorry, no snakes, spiders, rodents or lizards.
•    Is there any breed of dog you will not care for? Only those that express aggressive behavior and/or have a bite history.
•    Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered? All dogs coming to my home must be spayed or neutered.
•    Do you assist with farm animals? As long as one person can handle the tasks, I am willing to help.

PRICING & PAYMENTS

•    Do you charge extra for more than one pet? Yes, I charge $5 per additional dog. No extra charge for multiple cats. Give me a call for more details.
•    What types of payment do you accept? I accept cash or check which is due at time of services. Note: There is a $40 fee for returned checks.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

•    Do my dogs require shots before coming to your home? Yes, you will need to provide certification from your veterinarian that the required shots are current: rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetalla. Canine influenza is optional and at the discretion of your veterinarian.
•    When do shot records need to be provided? Shot records must be provided at the time of your booking. Updated records are required 2 weeks prior to services. If your pet is not up-to-date, no services will be provided.
•    How far in advance are the shots required? There is no advance requirement for rabies and DHLPP. Your pet should already be current on both vaccines. The Bordetella must be administered at least a week prior to dropping off. So, plan ahead and schedule your pet’s appointment with the veterinarian as soon as possible
